After graduating and starting my career in the UK as a research analyst, I moved from London to Munich on my 30th birthday with no money, no German and no job, marrying my implausibly optimistic girlfriend a year later.
Twenty years later we have three teenage children, I have dual British/German citizenship, and my consulting practice has been growing successfully since 2006.
I take personal development very seriously and have spent tens of thousands of dollars travelling the world to learn from the leading experts in consulting and coaching, including industry legends Alan Weiss and Marshall Goldsmith. As a result of participating in their programs, I am a Million Dollar Consulting College graduate, certified Sentient Strategy practitioner, and certified Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder-centered Coach.
I am also an IIoT World event moderator, and City Leader of SaaStock Munich, the local chapter of the most actionable SaaS conference and membership on the planet.
Last but not least, I serve as Secretary and Member of the Board at the Munich Multinational chapter of Lions Club International, raising funds for local organizations that support homeless people and autistic children, among others.
I currently split my time between Munich and our second home in Austria. And, when I’m not working or spending time with my family, you’ll find me: chasing my target of reading 100 books a year; hiking in the Alps; or mixing with fellow petrolheads at Munich’s Drivers & Business Club.
